Belindalee Hope


Belindalee Hope is the founder of Be Hope Films, a production company dedicated to stories haunt, heal and hit hard, told with integrity and impact.
With a background spanning studio blockbusters, indie breakouts, and international television, she brings scale, precision, and creative instinct to every project she leads.
Currently producing Shearing the Love a competitive sheep shearing sports comedy feature starring Oscar Winner Geoffrey Rush (Shine), Dan Musgrove (Westside) and Dom Hetrakul (The White Lotus) and AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys, alongside some of New Zealand’s finest talent.
Her previous producing work includes the award-winning feature The American (Joika), starring Talia Ryder and Diane Kruger, which premiered as the Closing Night selection at Deauville 2023 and was named Best of Fest at Palm Springs 2024, securing distribution across multiple territories including the U.S. and U.K.


She produced Madam, an internationally acclaimed comedy series starring Rachel Griffiths, which won Best New Comedy Series at Monte Carlo, Content London, the Berlin Series Festival, the Asian Academy Awards, Flickers Rhode Island and sold to Netflix.
As Co-Producer she was part of the team behind TIFF Midnight Madness Award winner on Shadow in the Cloud which secured global release via Hulu.
Belindalee began her career in production management on The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and King Kong, before transitioning into line-producing on genre standouts like What We Do in the Shadows, Guns Akimbo, and Pork Pie.
Her deep well of production knowledge, international partnerships, and track record of delivering at scale, positions her to anchor even the most ambitious creative visions.
